ASP.NET MVC Project - 3 mths

I'm in the process of designing and building an ASP.NET MVC 4 application using VB. This application is used to manage cases and staff members. I have a prototype almost complete and I'm looking to take the next step with the project. I'm an OK coder but it's not my day job, so I think there is a lot of room for improvement. Next steps may include extending the prototype in it's current state to; improve and enhance the project and implement best state methods or re-writing the application from scratch using a better architecture etc. I'm open to either approach and I'll be looking for a recommendation and guidance. Technologies / Concepts used in this application include: - ASP.NET MVC 4 (Visual Basic) - Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 - Entity Framework Migrations - Microsoft Word Document Generation (OpenXML) - JQuery - CSS - Google Charts I'm looking for someone to firstly discuss and review the application in it's current state and provide a recommendation and estimate for enhance vs start from scratch. I would then expect the individual / team would execute this piece of work and I anticipate this will last around 3 - 6 months. This may very well turn into a long term opportunity as I have other similar applications in the pipeline to be developed as well as requiring on-going enhancements to this project (this project has a 3+ year roadmap defined).
