Client/Server Technical/Customer Support Application Repost

Developer/Development Team needed for the development of a client server software application written under the .net framework. The project is essentially a technical/customer support chat application. The full system will consist of a front end chat interface that will interact with a software system built under the MVC (Model View Controller) paradigm. The primary USP ( Unique Selling Point ) of the system is to provide a smooth and robust chat system for companies worldwide that will also support, statistical analysis; chat operator distribution; internet related functionality; reporting and general management features. At present the project consists of a fully designed technical and functional specification coupled with some basic UML documents. Job Overview My client is looking to employ a team or a particularly talented individual to take on the project from start to finish meeting the requirements of the project in accordance to the technical and functional specification. The team will need to be available as often as three times a week to keep us informed on the progression of the project as well as any issues that have arisen. Upon selecting candidates we will request a meeting/interview with either the lead of the team or the full team/single developer. The project is large and complex therefore we need to ensure the team/developer that takes it, is able to produce the results we need. Presenting us with a portfolio will help push your application forward. We would also like the developer/s to take into consideration future extensibility and cross platform porting for future developments. In terms of time vs budget, the client and I are not particularly focused on a quick time scale we are more focused towards getting the software written within the set budget. Previous Developments Originally the development was started over two years ago and due to personal circumstances the previous developer had to leave the project. The original project was written in C# and asp “.net 2.0” versions using sql server. We require the new project to either be written using the .net framework 4.0 and asp.net; we are open to suggestions developing the project in c++ if you feel your team or yourself are capable of achieving this. At present we have a large code base from the previous developer with a few systems that can be utilized and ported to the new .net framework.
