I'm looking for GPS maps of Mexico for my Navigon 2100. I called the manufacturer and they said that they don't have any map updates. Is there a way to use Garmin Maps on the device?

I am in need of a small application that will receive information from a GPS device "Garmin Compatible" that is installed on a laptop and send that data via the internet to an ftp server. Will have to set wich com port to receive the gps information from, then the LAT and LONG will be send via a file to a file server every 5, 10, or 15 sec. This application will have to see if its connected to the internet and if so it will send the file, if not it will retry every 5 sec. I would like to display this information on a google map, or mappoint but I am not sure the format that it will need to be in. I am not looking for an exhaustive implementation, as the data will mostly just be lat and longitude, altitude, etc., and not any serious travel/waypoint stuff.
