I have a VB program. From that VB program, I want to send a Ctrl-E command to another application, which is currently running. I DO have the windows handle for the other running program. I need a windows xp fake-keyboard driver. The driver will allow for another program, c++ or c#, to send messages to the driver and the driver will send keyboard strokes to windows. This is not a keybd_event or SendKeys solution, the driver must fool the operating system into believing that it is a real driver. Hi, We have a Java app at work (running on Windows 2000) and I'm trying to use SendKeys in Microsoft Access VBA to get it to do a Ctrl-PgDn. The Java app does respond to a single key, for example, this works: AppActivate "Java app" SendKeys "{F10}", True However, a combination key such as Ctrl-PgDn does not work AppActivate "Java app" SendKeys "^{PGDN}", True Please note that when I go to the Java app itself and type in Ctrl-PgDn from the keyboard, everything works fine. Hi What I need is to be able to know what sort of control my mouse cursor is in. Currently I 'paste' with a simple sendkeys into other applications from my VB6 program that I have forced to be foreground via SetForegroundWindow API. I also set the cursor down where the mouse its ready to accept the paste. It´s a special Cherry Keyboard (G80-1501 HAD) with integrated SmartCard Reader. If you plug in the ChipCard, the Keyboard sends ALT Sequences (Sendkeys) to my app and i capture the Keys in a Textbox. Hi Basically open an application for e.g. notepad, I can do all the necessary sendkeys stuff for my application except I need to provide an exit button, so basically for the exit button see if the application is already open, if it isn't then do nothing and display a message to say 'run the open button'. And if the application is open just exit the application and close the vb application.
