I have a VB6 Script application that no longer ends. It basically takes a daily downloaded CSV file, dumps it into MySQL and then quickly updates a database with the values from the dumped CSV. This file use to have 400,000 entries and ran fine. Now that it is 600,000+ it doesn't stop unless I end it.

I am using the following VB6 browser: (Edge-Chromium)/page8 I have posted a question there, and this is the reply that I got and why I am now looking for somebody who can do it: I'd ask the developer who has programmed the C# interaction (with CEF), to write a similar js-function for you... WebView2 is using chromium as well, but as said, the DOM-interfaces are not exposed to the VB/COM-side here. Therefore you have to use "preloaded js-functions" to interact with the Browser-DOM "on the inside" of WV2 - and communicate with the outside via JSON-strings. Such a C#->js-v8 porting should not be that hard for the developer, who originally wrote the C#-stuff. All I can do here from my end, is to show you the "principle"
Our windows server has been down by !K32GetProcessMemoryInfo , we think. This server is used for Oracle and OS is Windows2008. Would you check the server log and report and fix the current issues ? I would expect some type of user interface screen where you can specify some comments to be held in the .igs file, and mm or inches, and a "Go" button to create the 3D .igs file. I have an old VB6 app and it has two issues to be fixed. (1) UNICODE This app has SSTab and within this tab, there are dynamically created user control q1, q2, q3, and so on using VBControlExtender. I want this control to be unicoded. (2) MathType v7 support This VB6 app makes use of a commercial software called “MathType” to insert an equation to a question window. This insertion is done by a communication through VC++6 DLL. Currently, I can use MathType v3.5 to insert an equation but need a fix for v7. The project is to convert a very large VB6 application from using ODBC to using REST APIs. Application consists of hundreds of VB forms so this project is expected to go for 2 years. The proof of concept scope is to develop the initial LOGIN mechanism and display the main form of the application. The application main form is similar to a CRM in function. Next step is to alter saturation and brightness of a single imagelist image. No fancy interface need for that, numbers only for the saturation/brightness values. Transparency and quality have to be preserved! Then this result has to be stored in a second image list. All images have to be processed in a loop. In order to check the result the second imagelist shall be used to poulate a toolbar. The toolbar is in the test app. This test app shall be used as the template for the work to do.
