Prospectors

"Prospectors" is curently existing Geological/Geophisical/Engineering logging/real-time Logging and data processing and reporting software. This software is desined in 80s and converted to Windows in 90s and redone in 2004. Thows interested may download the software and other info from prospectorsgroup.com.

Curently we seeking the coders that will take on all or part of:

step 1: Offer new layout and flowchart of Prospectors for directing of the technical requirements for Specifications and Bid writer. Cost ??.

step 1: Top to bottom Design with flowcharts and requirements for each block.

1.1 data base interaction on ther Drilling Rig and in the Office in real time.

1.2 Multiple drilling wells management in the office by the operator is mandatory.

1.3 an post drilling libruary privet and publick acsess.

1.4 Lab work data connected to DB.

1.5 Full WITS and (??SCADA) compatebility.

1.6 Remout internet data acsess and transfer in real time.

1.7 Choise of open and close fetchures for individual users.

2. Use of Borland capability to compile to Linux or windows.

3. Include detail coments in the code markt specialy so that later the small software can extract tis and upgrade automaticaly the manual and actieve user HELP.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):

a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Thank you all for your replies to our bid request. At this stage it is still quite difficult to choose a bidder to take on the project so we ask that those still interested please do the following. We would like you to create a possible layout for the software, a block flow chart with your future vision for the software and use of possible technologies. Start by taking a look at and studying the available downloads on: [login to view URL] and programs similar to CHIMO, datalog, and Pason, and study the features incorporated within each. Compare these to Prospectors existing software and give your ideas on how you will improve on it and make it better.

It is also necessary that it be in line with W.I.T.S. (Well Information Transefer Standard). We want the best possible mix of all of these with the ability to also control and monitor the data over an interne t connection in real time from our main office and also from the different field stations, control stations and the client's service hub.

We are looking for new and fresh ideas or approaches to the software, and are also looking to incorporate the newest and best technologies to create a program suitable for the needs of today and the future. Be sure to include the pros and cons of your proposal to help us select the best.

Included in this email is an example of the sort of flowchart that we would like. This is not a rule that has to be strictly followed, feel free to incorporate your own new designs and ideas into the chart. In each box it will be necessary to describe any new technologies that will be implemented and the pros and cons of each.

All of you that have bid clearly have different areas of expertise and this is being taken into consideration. We will take a look at all of the layouts and based on the replies we rec eive we will consider who and what is best in each area of the software. From this we will request the exact specifications and what needs to be done and how, then issue out parts or the entire bid in order to create the best possible software. These will go out to 1 to 3 of the best bidders to incorporate their strongest qualities in each field.
