E-Commerce with a Java Swirl

I am working with another company that has a good lead on a large web project. I need some? dialoge with? coders on this project so that I can get the project approved and you can do the work (hopefully). This project is a large e-commerce site with approx? 25,000 items. All of them will be t-shirts thats what this company does. With the server system that I have we have Miva merchant. I dont know if you have used or even heard of? it? but it is a really robust shopping cart software. Look it up at [url removed, login to view] . It does have a bulk upload system so? we wont have to do all 25000 products individually. The other company that I am working with will do all the basic HTML templates and the graphic design so you wont have to do that. However, there is a catch. Along with the shopping cart system they want the ability to upload custom graphics to the site and place on a t-shirt so you can see what it looks like before ordering... here is the exact replica of what they are wanting done... <[url removed, login to view]>

There will also need to be installing of the SSL cert. on the server and configuration of the online payment system between the miva merchant and the [url removed, login to view] or other gateway that he chooses.

Big project I know. Will definitly have to be done in stages. What I really need right now is just a ballpark figure of what it would cost to do this? and? an estimated? (time in weeks) figure of when it can be done. I know that java applet will be the most difficult to produce. The site that this project will be designed after is .... <[url removed, login to view]>

I realize that this is a very basic detailless scope of the work. More details will soon become aparant as the project moves along.

Rent A Coder requirements notice: As originally posted, this bid request does not have complete details. Should a dispute arise and this project go into arbitration "as is", the contract's vagueness might cause it to be interpreted against you, even though you were acting in good-faith. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
