Classroom Manager Tool

We are a non-profit High School so as low as possible please. We would prefer it done in Visual Basic however other languages are okay. What we require is a classroom management tool it will have a Client Module (to be installed on a students computer) and a teacher module (to be installed on the teachers computer) for a details description of what we are after please see Deliverables below. ## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. Seperate installations for Teacher and Student Modules 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. It will have to be able to do the following: 1. It will have a client and a teacher module, the client to be installed on the student computer and the teacher to be installed on a computer. 2. The module to be installed on the client computer should run as a service under windows nt, 2k, and xp it should also run on 95, 98, ME and be able to startup on system startup and will not have any icons or anything on the screen, it is to be completely hidden. 3. It should have the ability to set what room or location the client is in at setup eg Lab 1 4. The teacher module should have the ability to change between classes so i should be able select Lab 1 and all computers in Lab 1 should be shown in the list 5. The teacher module should display all computers in the class eg lab 1 and display the following information User Name (from windows or novell) and Computer Name (from the computer). There should be another view option which will display thumbnails of all the computers in the class, there should also be a School View showing all classes in the school eg Lab 1, Maths etc 6. At the top of the teacher module there should be the following options Observe, Control, Broadcast, Lock, Vote, Chat, Software the options are explained below: Observe - the teacher should be able to watch what is happening on the selected student computer without the student knowing. The teacher should also have a capture button to capture the screen and save the image. Control - the teacher should be able to select a user/machine and remotely control it Broadcast - This should allow the teacher to select which desktop (including its own) that should be broadcasted, they should then be able to choose which computers it will display the chosen computer on eg giving a demo Lock - This should display a message that the teacher enters in, and display it on selected students machines, the students shouldn't be able to close it or press ctrl-alt-del etc Vote - This should allow the teacher to select what machines or users will vote, the teacher should then be able to enter in a question and responses in multiple choice fashion Eg Have you done your homework? and the responses a) Yes b) No c) Lost it d) Dog ate it etc, these results should then be tallyed up and displayed Chat - The teacher should be able to either chat with a particular student or have a group chat by selecting who should be involved. When a student is in the chat it should display what they have said like the following UserName> Helloo ... Software - Software should show a user cusomisable list of filenames that can or cannot be run eg [url removed, login to view] etc and provide an option for the teacher to execute (open) a particular application eg [url removed, login to view] 7. In the teacher module upon opening, it should ask the teacher for his or her name 8. Have a deployment feature eg from the Teacher module have the ability to install the client (student) to selected machine 9. Must be very reliable
