Browser Plugin/Add-on (or other solution)

An advertising agency wants to test the effect of advertising messages on users browsing the sites that the agency has produced. When the users browse the different sites, we'd like to send them messages from a database about what to check for on that specific site. So basically: (1) send info to the db about what site the user is browsing, and (2) get a message from the db and display that in an alert box on the site. Now the tricky part is that clients wont allow any script to be installed on their different sites. (Otherwise I suppose installing a script would solve this problem quite easily.) So we have to find another solution. I think one solution might be a browser plugin. Though I'm not sure that it works, or if there are other better options. Let me know if you can do it or if you can think of another solution. NOTE. ## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

Whatever works, but has to be as platform-independent as possible.
