We want an ASPX page to resize images. Following properties are needed:

1. ImageFolder - points to the image folder on disk

Following parameters

imagename = the name of the image (try to find a .jpg or a .png)

maxwidth = image width

maxheight = image height

subfolder = subfolder to be appended to imagefolder

importantly the image must remain in the correct width/height ratio.?

The image should also never be made bigger.

Use maxwidth/maxheight to resize the image to the correct size.

Look for the image in Imagefolder\subfolder.

If the image is not found then try to return an image called [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view]

So calling the asp should be similar to below:

Hi All There has been some confusion, so here is more detail... I didnt mentioned that the aspx page must return the image. So from our web site we will call the aspx page which will return the image. Below is an example of the call made and an image is the result. You can check below to see what I mean... Another question by a few people has been what if the new width/height is not the same ratio as the image? A: Then take the either the width or height of the image to make it the maximum. ie. if the pic is 800x600 and we want specifiy we want an image returned of 200x200 then u would return an image of 200x150 to keep the aspect ratio.
