Simple data management software with import export features and auto removal features

## Deliverables

Online Customer Database Management System

Develop the following;

Software which will be hosted online in a shared hosting environment.? **Programming language will be PHP 5 (5.2.2).? Database will be MySQL version 5.**

The software will be accessed via a username and password log-in.

When the user has logged in they will all see the same three basic options:

Add a prospective customer

Add a new customer

Add a past customer

All the users will be doing is adding the information into a form which will then be submitted into a database.? **The form fields are as follows (some adjustment as the site is developed may be made, but this is the basic info):**

Import Features.

Manual Import of Data

We will require a way to import existing prospect, customer and past customer data into these tables.

**Prospective Client Data**

First name, Last Name, Address, City, State/Prov, ZIP/Postal Code, Country, Phone, Cell Phone, Email address. Date entered (automatic), Source, Promotion

**Client Data**

First name, Last Name, Address, City, State/Prov, ZIP/Postal Code, Country, Phone, Cell Phone, Email address. Date entered (automatic), Source, Promotion, What was purchased, Revenue from Purchase

**Past Client Data**

First name, Last Name, Address, City, State/Prov, ZIP/Postal Code, Country, Phone, Cell Phone, Email address. Date entered (automatic), Source, Promotion, Reason for cancellation

There are a few data management rules I would like to have in place:

When the user adds a New Customer **if that person is already either a Prospective Customer or a Past Customer they will be removed from those tables and put in as a New Customer instead.? Identifying whether or not the person already exists in the database will be based on email address and/or phone number.**

That is all that a user will need to be able to do.

Back end management that I will need

Ability to create an account for someone?

Ability to change their username and password

Forgot your username and password feature

I will want to be able to log in and see all of the user’s data

I will have to be able to choose to export any user’s individual data into Excel format **(this does not have to be the native Excel format ??" exporting as a table with the Excel headers so that the export loads into Excel is fine).**

Ideally I would like to have a feature where I can select which parts of the data within each database I want to export (For example I may want just name and email address)

This has to be scalable as I may want to expand the data collected at a later date

I would also like a feature whereby the system can generate an automated report of how many times a user logged in each week and also how many new additions were made to their database (this is a wish not an absolute necessity)
