Appraisal System Completion

I am in need of an auction type site that will allow registered users to bid on items. There will be different user levels

bidders - can only bid

sellers - can only sell

appraiser - approves items for bid or decides to place an appraised amount on the item

manager - ability to appraise and approve items as appraiser, but can view reports

administrator - oversees everything

I have some of the code written, but need someone to finish it up or create it from scratch.

## Deliverables

I will provide what is completed now, and I need someone to complete the bid and appraise portions of the system, add css for the look and build the reports section. The original description is shown below. I will need this completed within 5 days which is very important. If there are any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

I forgot to include one additional feature, when an item ends, the appraiser and management need to be able to mark the item won or lost, whether appraised or bidding ends.

Description: Web based online appraisal system for the appraisal and sourcing of bids for agricultural equipment.

Operation details:

Salesman will complete an application, based on equipment type, for the new piece of equipment being evaluated. Salesman will enter all details for the piece of equipment and upload applicable photos.

Once the appraisal form has been completed, the equipment will be displayed on the in-house appraiser’s home screen. The appraiser will have the option of appraising the equipment or submitting the equipment for the bidding process. If the equipment will be appraised the appraiser will enter the appraised amount and the equipment would then be displayed for the original salesman as ready for sale. If the equipment will be submitted to the bidding process, the appraiser will enter a bid start date, bid end date, and reserve amount. The appraiser will also select the bidder or bidders that will be allowed to bid on the equipment.

The bidder will be notified by email that new equipment is available for bidding. The bidder will login and will be presented with the items available to bid on. The bidder will only be allowed to bid one time on each piece of equipment. If the bidder determines that the bid needs to be adjusted, the bidder may retract the bid and a new bid placed. Bidders will only be able to see items assigned to them for bidding that have not closed due to date or bid amount rules, placed by the appraiser.

Once bidding has closed, an alert will be displayed on the salesman’s home screen and management’s home screen, with a link to the equipment. The salesman and management will both have the option to mark the bid as “Won?? or “Lost??.

Global Rules:

All users, access level 3 and above will be able to view open and closed bids.

Each user access level will have its own menu based on the access provided.

No user below access level 5 will be allowed to modify bids.

Bidders (access level 1) will only be notified by email when new equipment is available.

Sales will need an option to turn on notifications when a bid is placed.

All equipment will be able to be tracked by salesperson and equipment type.

Reporting system will be created to display statistics based on equipment, salesperson, won/lost, bidder, price, and/or date range.

Each category will have its own auction details page which will be supplied on project implementation.

The auction details page will need to have the ability to upload a max of 6 images. The images will need to be automatically resized and a thumbnail generated.

The site will be a private site so no auction information will be seen until a user has logged in.

Bidders will not be able to sell.

Seller will not be able to bid.
