asp redirect based on hit counter

hiya, I wont even pretend to know what im doing. but from what i've read asp is the place to start. i have seen the simple hit counter available. and noticed the redirect feature. but putting it all together is beyond me. basically a hit comes to the page any hit, and basedon the hit count is redirected to a URL from a list. i figure a txt file on the server with these stats in it would ease updating information --------txt file numberusers=5 hitsperuser=200 urlarray(5) url1 url2 etc. ---------------- and the page can load em as vars everytime. i notice the hitcounter writes a file everytime to server to update hits, and reads it everytime and adds 1. other vars need would be the when it gets to the numer of hits need to start redirecting to next url,. and finally when it grts to last url , igiess it just deleted the hit counter file amd other stats and when next hit comes it will start at zero.
