Integrated Structural, Flight Dynamics and Aeroelastic Analysis of the ANCE X-3D as a flexible body

AIAA American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics

This paper aims to generate simplified structural configurations for the ANCE X-3d by considering the influence of structural flexibility on flight dynamic characteristics and aeroelastic phenomena. Reduced-order aero-structural models were developed to quantify the influence of flexibility on the aircraft's aerodynamics and stability characteristics. The resultant flutter and divergence velocities fulfill the design criteria.
