Help me install an external package in my Ubuntu machine

What I have done so far:
1.1 Ubuntu repositories set to allow "restricted," "universe," and "multiverse." in Softwares & Updates.
1.2 [login to view URL] set as in my /etc/apt/sources.list.d/[login to view URL]
deb [login to view URL] focal main
1.3 Keys been set with the command shown in the first block
1.4
sudo apt update
#Hit:2 [login to view URL] focal InRelease
is the only message related to ROS
sudo apt install ros-melodic-desktop-full
# E: Unable to locate package ros-melodic-desktop-full
sudo apt install ros-melodic-desktop
# E: Unable to locate package ros-melodic-desktop
sudo apt install ros-melodic-ros-base
# E: Unable to locate package ros-melodic-ros-base
sudo apt install ros-melodic-slam-gmapping
# E: Unable to locate package ros-melodic-slam-gmapping
This is where stopped me. From my knowledge and searching, the reasons for this error typically occurs because
- Repositories not enabled
- Bad package names. I have no idea if this is the case cuz it's wrriten in the official installation page
- sudo apt update. This might solve 90% of issues but did not solve mine.
