I am looking for a developer to automate some FTP data feeds to a MySQL database, using PHP scripts running on my hosting server. I have an existing feed with about 20 different directories being accessed on the FTP server, and a new one with 60 directories.
For both these separate FTP accounts, the developer will need to use the getFTP command to download the most recent CSV locally, then write PHP to parse the columns that need to be imported to a MySQL table via mysqli. The specific columns depend on the directory so a number of separate PHP scripts will be needed.
The PHP will run at preset intervals (daily, weekly, monthly depending on the directory) via Cron jobs on the server (accessible via cPanel). The MySQL tables are called via Ajax from Javascript charting applications on the front end, and the output will need to be tested with these apps before the completion milestone of the project.
Only freelancers with provable experience of similar projects will be considered.
