url shortener running on ec2

I need a url shortener running on an ec2 instance similar to the following:

][1] The instance needs to be scalable. I want the database holding the links in simple db on amazon. The links can be password protected for the users, meaning when they click the shortlink, if it is password protected, the user will get a screen that allows them to enter a password.

In addition, the password screen should allow for sizing for mobile devices and tablets. You will only have a password field and a button.

The input for the url will be a web service, there will be no web facing link creator.

This will run over https.
