Add up total quantities of multi-level BOM (VB sub routine)

VB6 only!!! Convert a ListView (e.g. called lvListView) with information as from table 1 - Single Qty (see attached file) and enter into a second "Total Quantities" list view (lvListViewFinal) where quantities are total-ed up.

The essence is; if the same "Part Number" is found (e.g. P1, P2, A1, A2, etc) on the SAME LEVEL, then the quantities need to be added up, however, the children's qty shouldn't go up (stay the same). The pic illustrates perfectly how.

To demonstrate, please compile your work to exe for me to see in working order. The test should allow listview data to be added by me (not your own data). If satisfactory, instant payment will follow.

Due to various tries so far, coders have missed something important in the request. If identical "assemblies" are found at the same level, their children (i.e. parts/assemblies below) only get added up with each other if more than one within the parent assembly, not with similar items at diferent assembly parents. You have to study carefully the image given.

We know for a fact that by doing the straight forward addition of any similar items at same level it takes us about 5 minutes to do. This needs a little bit of thinking (maybe using redim/redim preserve strLevel / strPartNumber / etc () as string.

Note as well, there should be an item P4 with quantity 1, level 2, on table 2 at the bottom - item 9 (instead of P3). Image is now updated to reflect this!

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
