Delphi DevExpress Component Converter

Hello - I have a large number of forms which use either data-aware DevExpress editors (v3) or data-aware Raize components. I would like to migrate these forms to using the latest DevExpress editors (v6).

As you may know, one of the key differences is that the data binding in v6 of DevExpress is now stored under a "DataBinding" property - so using existing conversion utilities such as the one in GExperts won't work, as you end up with components in the right place with the right name and with some properties copied but without any data binding.

So I'm looking for a utility that can convert them for me, and then possibly convert some other components too, such as the Raize TMenuButton button component to the cxButton with type set to menu. Ideally I would be able to give the utility a path to a directory and it would convert all forms and frames in that directory.

There was a similar tool published at? [[url removed, login to view]][1] but I can't get it to work... DevExpress themselves say that they don't have a utility to do it.

Suggestions welcome.

Obviously it is (probably) essential that you own these component libraries already, though Raize is less important - I can always convert the Raize components? to DevExpress v3 and then to DevExpress v6.

## Deliverables

Deliverables should be at least 1 form and 1 frame with a number of data aware DevEx v3 editors on them, with databinding values set.

The utility should then convert these and put the revised? copies? in a new subdirectory.
