In 2009, I received my Bachelor of Elementary Education degree with a General Education concentration. I conducted my own study for the elementary teacher licensure exam instead of attending a review facility. However, my remarkable score of 82% was higher than I expected.
My first job was a one-year stint as an English teacher and sixth-grade adviser at a private school. In addition, I oversaw the school journal and served as a coach for division and regional competitions, all assigned by the administration. I then worked as an online ESL teacher for Koreans and Japanese since I wanted to hunt for something more difficult than ABCs. I taught Japanese businesspeople and professionals more advanced business English and increased the scope of my job by taking on roles as a sales account executive for a customer in the UK and a collections associate for a US account. In addition, I have customer service positions with Telcos in Australia and the US.
I was working for another BPO business as what are called "super agents" because of my previous sales, customer service, and collecting experiences. My job was to collaborate with the retention department and offer upselling and technical help when we needed to incorporate customer service abilities. I enjoy working with clients, particularly when it entails correspondence and writing. I see myself as a resourceful, independent, and cooperative team member. One of my favorite things about myself is that I always try to keep an optimistic outlook on things. I don't compete against anyone, but I do compete against myself, which is something I believe is crucial to success. I prefer to be self-motivated rather than overly reliant on other people. In terms of motivation, I think pushing myself to work effectively will benefit me in the long run.
As a technical support and customer care agent, I can say that I performed my duties effectively. I used to receive praise from both consumers and clients, so I received several calls of congratulations rather than just a few. My customer satisfaction rating was sent along as a result. I can also say that I performed well in my sales experience. My background in collections taught me how to be tenacious and convincing. I was able to establish rapport and win customers' trust because of my experience in customer service. Since I was able to apply all the necessary abilities for my next career, I was happy that I was allowed to work on several accounts.
