GENERAL ROLE & DESCRIPTION: SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGN : • Analyze, design, develop, test and maintain client-server and/or Internet-based applications. • Evaluate the project requirements, participate in design meetings, and determine the best solution to an information system problem. • Create functional specification and database specification. • Create and conduct system quality assurance testing. • Develop and conduct interview process with users regarding user’s system requirements. PROJECT MANAGEMENT: • Leads the system or project development team. • Detailed project tasks planning and scheduling. • Determined the duties and responsibilities of individuals in a team. APPLICATION SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION AND MAINTENANCE: • Responsible for the administration of application systems being developed or managed. • Responsible for the administration of databases such as the BPCS systems, EPPI Payroll systems (Orisoft HRMS) and all in-house developed systems. USER SUPPORT : • Assists users in application systems problems. • Create system documentation • Create and conduct system user testing and training. MANAGEMENT TASK : • Trains, directs, disciplines and evaluates performance of subordinates. • Follows and implements company policies and regulation. • Reports project status to Senior Systems Engineer/Section Manager. • Assist Senior Systems Engineer and Section Manager in improving the system development. KEY PROJECTS AND MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS: • Team-Lead of the design & development team of a real-time Parts Monitoring System. System that serves as essential tools in preventing incorrect parts from being made or assembled. Reduce customer complain by 20%. • Assigned to an overseas project as the overall in-charge of implementing a packaged web and windows application for paperless production line and quality assurance monitoring system. • Team-Lead of the design & development team of a real-time data analysis system that reduced waste process & provides parts quality information for production. Support Company cost reduction campaign that decreased production cost by 30%. • Successfully implemented and System Administrator of Orisoft-HRMS, a packaged system for human resource, payroll, and time management. • System operator and provide application support for Business Planning and Control System (BPCS), an Enterprise Planning Resource (ERP) system. • Provide application support and enhancement to In-House developed systems.
