We are looking for a new polished website design (for a site we currently have) that can be built in Homestead's Site Builder platform. We can provide the link for program download and login info. We realize this may be an antiquated design site, but everyone in our non-profits are 50+ yrs of age and not really tech savvy. We have found it very easy with this platform to quickly add necessary info for events and updates, and never have to pay any maintenance on our sites. Our current site is [url removed, login to view] on Homestead. This Mardi Gras Dog Parade benefits three all-volunteer non-profits, and we have NOT done a good job conveying that the parade, unlike most mardi gras parades, is actually a Fundraiser for our groups. This past year, we have added the tag line... helping kids and k-9's... in hopes to remind people that it truly is a party with a purpose. Since the colors of mardi gras are purple, green, and gold (yellow), it would be nice to kind of keep with this overall color scheme if possible. All of the necessary information is on the current site, but just needs to be updated with 2014 dates and info. 2014 will mark our 20th year parading, and we plan to have a theme something like... Mardi Paws Rolls on the Red Carpet, where parade goers can costume pertaining to any Red Carpet event (Oscars, Emmys, MTV awards, etc). The home page could certainly reflect this Red Carpet theme, and we have a volunteer who donates our annual logo which shows the theme in it which we could add to the site, and we use on brochures and t-shirts. The logo you see at the top - "DOGGONE Wet" was from 2013. If it is too labor intensive, we could help transfer all the info over to the new site once we receive the overall template and look and feel, because as volunteers, we truly try and return every penny back into the communities we serve. We would like to build out the domain name - [url removed, login to view] - since we are all 501c3s, and then just park and point [url removed, login to view] there. We have so many wonderful photos on our Facebook page, and you'll see we weren't even sure how to properly add the FB link. We are all amateurs trying to learn. But, by being able to log in and quickly put an update on the home page, it has saved us countless hours on the phone answering calls and e-mails with questions. We would love the design to be polished and professional, and a little on the playful cartoonish side.
