My name is John Meek, I have been in the esports industry for nearly 20 years, having won a National Tournament as a signed MLG Professional for Halo 2, and I'm now looking to create my own competitive platform. I have plenty of experience in game design/programming, I'm now moving into UE5.
We will be utilizing the most of the devtools available on the Unreal Marketplace, very strong skills in Blueprints &/or C++ will be required regardless. Mostly we are tweaking gameplay mechanics, building front-end UI, along with configuring logic for multiplayer. It's mainly about reskinning/modding a working starter kit & making necessary changes around that. If you feel your capabilities meet this criteria, then please do submit your application!
This job is hiring remote, though we will be working daily as a team. If you cannot join for live voice chat while working hours on the clock, then this isn't for you. Please allow me to state that this will be a easy going & fun work environment, so don't feel shy or intimidated about how this is a team project where we will be working together.
The $3000 dollars is for working over the course of ~one month full time. My goal is to raise salary of applicant first to $5K/month, then $10K/month before year's end after the game releases. The $18,000 is for royalty from game sales, whether you continue to work for the project or not post-launch.
I absolutely believe this project will be successful, not based on some noobie to gamedev aspiring hope for achieving greatness, rather based on a very intelligently planned business model & esports comp design that is going to systematically make its break into the global FPS community.
