Studying the propagation of time delay on transmission Line

My project consist of studying the signal propagation on a transmission line based on a mathematical model of (length)/(Speed) = (Time delay) and compare it with my Matlab simulation.
I just need assistant in understanding the simulation so it could match with my mathematical model.
