I am trying to get into the online travel business. Although I have some basic development skills, my skills are not good enough to develop a polished professional website, so I am looking for a developer to help me develop a travel related directory to test the concept. It will have dynamic as well as static content. I want develop the site from scratch. This is stage one of the project, at some point when I have sufficient funding, the site would convert to a travel portal such as [login to view URL], [login to view URL], etc. so this could potentially lead to more business if I am happy with the project.
I need a highly polished website so I can develop some traction with users. I am not looking for content, just site development.
Since I am in the U.S. I prefer a US based developer. But ultimately my goal is quality and cost, so I am open to other quality developers.
