VLSI DESIGN - Optical Link Design for high Data rate

The purpose of my project is to design a Optical Link RX according to the given specifications. This means I need to design the Trans-impedance amplifier, the limiting amplifier and the decision circuit according to the specification given.
The specifications are given for the following properties:
Gain Data rate Noise Power PD cap
For this job, I would like to receive the schematic of the of the optical Link along with explanation as to why it was designed that way. I need also simulations to show that the Optical link is behaving as specified.
I will provide more detail in time. This is a relatively simple project. I can provide with lecture notes which covers the topic for this project if needed.
Required simulations:
AC bandwith for the gain of the input to the output
Transient response
Eye Diagram
Generate a PRBS
Repeat for 0 C and 75 C (temperature)
Suggested tool: cadence
UPDATE: Since I can perform most of the cadence simulation. I simply want a circuit design with the AC Banwith gain plot and the Transient response that shows that the design meets the specifications. These plots can be generated by any software. Other than that the focus is still the same:
