Rewriting working Python module using Cython

This project will take an existing functioning python module that does text extraction using lxml:

1.) Profile the module using python tools

2.) Rewrite the problem areas of the code in Cython.

3.) Add some additional lxml parsing support.

4.) Make a new interface to the code
