PROJECT OVERVIEW:

You will be modifying an existing Wordpress installation running X Theme. This is a Matchmaking site where members can:

1) Sign up

2) Complete their member questionnaires

3) Pay their fees using Paypal.

This should be a smooth, 3-step process initiated by clicking on a link or button.

The modifications include the following additions:

1. Creation of a Member Profile Questionnaire equal to 12 printed pages long (we will provide the questions and formatting, you are responsible for converting it into digital form).

2. Creation of a Paypal "check out" page after Questionnaire

3. Creation of a Member Login area where Members can login to check their Membership status and payment history.

4. Creation of a shorter questionnaire that is not connected to the Paypal "check out" page and does not require creation of a username/password. This form is about a page long and will email the admin and store in a database for later reference. We will provide the questions for this form.

DETAILS:

FEES PAGE: This page has 2 options for pricing with an "Order Today" button below each option. We would like both buttons to launch the ordering process which will consist of the following steps/components:

1. Gather crucial user contact information (First Name, email address, phone number) and member creates their own personal login (username/password) to be saved into the database. This part should connect to the next step, which is the Member questionnaire. This can be one page. An automated "thank you" email will be sent to the new member.

2. Member Profile Questionnaire - this is a 12 page "personality profile" style survey. Instead of having all the questions on a single page, you will set it up so there are no more than 1 or 2 per screen similar to Paypal's customer feedback survey (see attachment).

In this format, the question is displayed in the middle, and the user can move forward or backward to change any answers by clicking left and right navigation arrows. After completing the basic contact info/username/password creation, and the 12 page questionnaire, the user will be directed to a Paypal payment page where they can make a purchase.

3. Paypal Payment Page - This will allow the user to select one of two possible "packages" - the type of package purchased must be saved into the database, eg. "One year membership" or "6 Month Membership"

All of the above inputs will be collected and saved in the database. If the user chooses to quit during any of the above steps, all partial information must still be saved in the database.

SUMMARY:

- Clicking "Order Now" buttons and links will launch the 3-step purchase process:

1. Basic contact info and creation of username/password

2. 12 Page Membership Profile Questionnaire

3. Paypal purchase page

NOTES:

- If the user completes at minimum Step #1, they will receive an automated "Thank You" email, even if they do not complete the questionnaire or Paypal page.

- Add feature to allow automatic sending of emails on specific calendar days. Examples: Membership renewal reminder, renewal thank you email, certain holidays, etc.

- Only the admin can view user information/profiles.

- Only the admin can view user information/profiles. Each user can only view/edit their own profiles.
