Save & Retrieve Data After Form Closed.

In my C# code, I'm counting a value. When this value reaches the limit (eg.500), the form will prompt "Credit Expired".
Looking for best ways to save & retrieve the count values such that the end user cant Reset the count at the same time count values are safely stored.
Need c# code for that portion, support until it's successfully implemented.
