Hello! We are looking for a developer with experience in MS SQL Server, C#, and XML. The project is for some rather simple custom script programming for a new ERP [url removed, login to view] software is based on the back end by Microsoft Dynamics GP, with another software called SalesPad handling the UI for inventory management and sales/purchasing processes on the front end. SalesPad has a custom C# script editor, which we would like to utilize for specific customization within the software.
Tasks we need accomplished:
- Creation of a C# based script to automatically generate Customer IDs based off of 2 different SQL databases with a shared table for customer IDs. Basically to maintain continuity across two different company databases. (i.e. If a new customer is created in company A, then that same customer ID# is "reserved" in company B, and vice versa).
-Build/Customize several simple reports (customizing our sales order,invoice, and pick-list forms etc). Basic templates already available. Only a couple modifications required.
-Build several xml based quick reports for real-time information etc.
We prefer local candidates in the Southern California area who can work ON-SITE in our Ontario, CA office. We will pay a gas expense stipend. Good results may lead to contracting more work with us!
Understanding of basic accounting principles is a plus! Additional experience with PHP, ASP.net storefront, and web development is also a huge plus (as we are looking to redo our website in the future), but not required for this specific task.
