Design some Icons

Project

I will need 12 pieces of vector art in total, with 9 being very simple icons.

We are producing a report (using Indesign) on housing and homelessness in our city, and need some vector art for use in the document. These vector images will be used both in print (fact sheets, reports, etc) and on a website. These images should be editable in Adobe Illustrator. They should be consistent in terms of style, as they may appear together throughout the document.

Overview

1. Develop one stylized skyline.

2. Use skyline to develop a second logo/icon featuring a path or road.

3. Develop one graphic depicting backpacks along a brick wall.

4. Provide nine simple icons of various scenes/buildings in matching (e.g., bench, hotel, house)

I have created a two page set of instructions (with lots of examples) in an effort to simply make the tasks as clear and easy as possible (not an attempt to limit creativity). Creative license is welcome, but the budget is thin! I’m available to answer questions if needed.

I have also include photos for reference. Note that we don’t want photo-realistic art here - we need much simpler and stylized objects.
