The brief is to design a logo for a start up company: TrustyLife. The company will be the umbrella for a range of iOS, android and desktop apps, as well as in the future an online store, and other ventures (which could involve property portfolios/external businesses).
I want the logo to incorporate the following things in someway:
* I’m looking for an iconic, distinctive, eye-catching and attractive logo - an icon or graphic along with the writing would be great
* It is a Christian company
* TrustyLife apps and products are innovative and aim to be a trustworthy companion in your life
* All TrustyLife apps/other products/services will be modern, contemporary and crisp/fresh/flat in design. I want the logo to reflect this in it’s design
* I want a unique and original logo design, nothing borrowed from other services or stock, etc. It will need to be print ready and I will need the photoshop/illustrator documents, etc.
* Being a startup, I haven’t decided on branding/colors, etc., so I will need prototype examples in different color schemes/themes (web colors only) - help me discover the right branding and theme to best represent what TrustyLife is about!
* The colors/themes used in the logo will also be used for app/website branding too, so it's important to me that it's thought through carefully.
Successful & satisfactory completion of this project could lead to further design work projects being commissioned.

EDIT/UPDATE:
thanks all for the entries so far, loving them, i'm finding that the logo concepts i'm liking the most have incorporated leaves, water and people themes...
water representing living water/refreshment, leaves for fresh growth, and people as everything we do is to be a companion and presence in peoples lives...would love to see some more ideas/variations around those themes...thanks again, excited to see the direction branding is going for TrustyLife!

EDIT 2/UPDATE 2:
loving the entries so far everyone, all the themes are great that are coming in! I want something a bit more cutting edge, unique, crisp, inviting, quirky, iconic, something that people haven't seen before, some of the ideas coming in are a bit too serious for what I'm looking for...
TrustyLife's products are a companion in life, so designs need to be friendly, inviting, warm, etc...colors to be unique too, something that can become a brand or identity for TrustyLife...interested to see some logos with backgrounds behind them for examples of color schemes, which will help me see possible website integration, etc...looking for unique crisp clean colors...
final thought - I've liked rounded fonts/rounded icons on some of the logos submitted so far...not limiting it to that, but that is one theme that I have enjoyed seeing versions of
surprise me, I'm excited to see that unique iconic design that makes me say WOW! thanks guys for the designs and applying your talents to my project!

hey, I described in more detail in the brief above, what TrustyLife is, and the kinds of products we will be selling, but, basically, it's a company that will be the umbrella, for iOS, android and desktop apps, and in the future I aim to have an online store/other online and external businesses/ventures...the apps will be lifestyle apps, designed with Christians in mind, but obviously open to all users...journals, etc...the look and feel I want for the apps, website, logo, etc..is flat, modern, clean, fresh...something iconic with an icon or something that attracts people...TrustyLife as a name can be split in 2 - Trusty: our services and products are trustworthy and truthful | Life: our services and products will hopefully be a useful companion in our user's lives...i'm looking for help through this logo, with the overall branding/colors/corporate ID for TrustyLife...thanks so much for your entries everybody...liking most of what I see so far!
