I am a single father that has been starting up my own company. Its been a hard 3 years because of the small community I live in. Here lately my name got out and finally going somewere! All my skills that I have today is all on me learning them on my own threw tutorials and just plug and try. Everyone that has seen my skills are amazed with what I have accomplished in a little amout of time. In 1 year I taught myself to surf the web more, HTML, some Javascript, some CSS, and learing the areas towards affiliated programs, and traffic sites. Also, taught myself how to use Dreamweaver MX, Photoshop 8, Then in year 2 I taught myself Advanced HTML, DHTML, CSS, Apache Web Server (windows), and then soon accomplished fully learning Dreamweaver MX, and Photoshop 8. Year 3, I began to hear from fellow web designer's that were good friends of this script that was expecting to take over the net in 2-3 years. PHP..I tried to learn php but only seem to accomplish just how to upload and work the scripts. I slowly checked on some tutorials and could do beginner stuff, and Photoshop CS came out and I quickly grabbed it and taught myself the newer stuff on it. Here recently, I finally took time to see if all my tutorial readings was paying off. I wrote my own personal script. Nothing big just used flat text file and it was used to submit links to the website. It took me ruffly 4 hours to write and test to become error free...well for my stander's anyways.
So basically I am freelance type guy. I taught myself everything I know its accually finally paying off, after hours up til 4-5 in the morning and then needing to be up at like 6-7. People are satisifed with my work, and I seem pretty happy with my skill levels. I am still doing more PHP learning but I do got the basic's down to do alot of stuff, and understand it.
