1) Taken care of Institutional sales and publicity to increase the sale. The company was one of the largest cycle manufacturing unit of the country. Dealer network, sort out the grievances , manage the disputes , POS planning were the main area of activities. Steps taken to increase the sale at Dealers outlet.
2) Taken care of marketing of Engineering items to the big Industrial houses and to maintain rapport with them.
3) Experienced in designing, printing and maintaining stock of -- Books on Machine details, Spare parts details with sub assembles, mentioning part no, description, unit per machine, rate per unit etc, Service books etc. Maintaining stock of such books are important as it has to move with each and every sales. Some time , these are distributed to the prospective buyers also.
Besides the writing of above books,Write up on products released in magazines of related products and other commercial books. These write ups are of great use to create an impact on sales.
Sending write up on products explaining plus points over competitors in the magazines, making brochures, price lists etc.
WRITING:-
1) Have written on technical issues, also on many other issues like science and religion, current issues, socially neglected areas, sports specially football and cricket.
As a marketing and Purchase personnel, in my professional life, handled most complicated business issues involving all over the vast country like India, which helped me to got expertise in correspondences, mailing telephone talk to sort out those issues. And used to travel all over the country for 10 - 20 days a month, which initially inspired me to start writing on the culture, style, living, typical history of those places and people.
SOURCE DEVELOPMENT:-
Vendor development by make them understood on commercial and technical aspects of the item & business is another skill. During design change of a product, development of new items, Project implementation , development of sources with in specified time was appreciated by all directors. To check machinery, financial capacity, instruments, skill work force were considered.
