Designed/Implemented “Power Windows†desktop utility for adjusting transparency of up to 10 windows. Ported Layer1 C model to MIPs assembly for embedded design. Verified C model using Matlab. Controlled hardware devices (radio, LEDs, I/O, interrupts, etc.) Verified embedded design on ASIC and FPGA. Working demo of L1 technology running on ASIC. Funding was not forthcoming and company folded. 8/2000 - 7/2001 Rosun Technologies Fremont (Failed Startup) DSP Engineer / Software Engineer Lead Engineer for MP3/WMA/CD project. Debugged existing player to production level in ADI assembly. Lead for 4 engineers in design and implementation of WMA decoder. Ported system logic of WMA decoder and several audio processing blocks from MICROSOFT OOP C++. Brought the MP3 real time OS to production level.
