Build a website for a women-owned interior design firm with booking and payment functionality

Ebotan Interiors – a women-owned architecture and interior design firm – is actively looking for a talented web designer and developer to create an elegant, interactive yet user friendly website.
With our logo designs, brand guidelines and written web content complete and visual content currently in the works, we are in need of a professional who has an eye for clean and artful web design with superior user interface design skills to merge it all and create a website that is unique, user friendly and communicates our brand identity: global, warm, elegant and timeless.
More specifically, we would need you and/or your team(s) to:
• Execute all web design and development stages from concept to final hand-off for seven (7) main menu items, and several additional related subpages and an e-commerce component (with our own provider and related web requirements and links to incorporate).
• Conceptualize original website design ideas sensitive to user-system interaction
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present and defend designs and key deliverables to our representatives and executive level stakeholders
• Operate by our brand and design guidelines, best practices and standards.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications that include but are not limited to:
• Proven work experience as a web designer and developer
• Strong web design and development portfolio
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language
• High standards of professionalism, organization and time-management skills
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript or equivalent for rapid prototyping
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques and technologies
• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or a Visual Arts subject or related
• Experience with API (i.e. booking and e-commerce content) integration
• Experience with or related to interior design and home décor is a plus.
We are set to begin the project in August 2022 and have a maximum budget of $2,500. We will not be able to exceed this amount but are open and willing to establish a long-term partnership for our future web design needs.
Please note that before hiring, we would like to conduct a brief interview with our top candidates whom we will select and notify within two (2) weeks from the date of this job posting. While we will carefully review your sample work, if interested in this job, we would like to kindly ask you to wow us and create one or two simple mockup page(s) and/or concepts for us by the time of your interview. (We’ll be happy to provide you with more detail about us and both sample written and visual content for these as needed).
