Upload image in wordpress media manager

Hello

I need a php / curl script that in collaboration with [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] can insert an image in the media manager of a wordpress site.

the image is not on the local PC but on a server (for example: [url removed, login to view])

the script will have to be integrated into another one already functioning which insert post with tags and category and retrevie url of post.

With Postman I can make the inclusion of the image correctly.

But when i generate the code from postman and i launch it I get a an error that indicates that the file (image) is empty.

I believe that the problem is in how to write the paht of image because the code generated with postman considers the upload of the local image while I have to use an image on the server.

I hope is clear. in any case ask me for more info.

I just want to specify that you do not need to do the script or plugin, but just fix one already ready and that presents an issue.

more detail:

I have a php software in SOURCE_SITE.
this software manage a database of articles.
i choose an articles, TARGET_WP_SITES and using a plugin (POSTIE), via mail, i publish the article.

I want change and insert the article in TARGET_WP_SITE using wp_rest_api and the script is ready and working (retrieve category, match the righ one, add tags and insert the post).
The only problem is with the image and my programmar is not exper of rest_api and can't understand how to resolve.

here issue opened on github, with parte of the script with the problem.
