Forward Domain to Sub Domain, but show Main Domain as URL

Hello,
We want to forward our main domain to a sub domain, but in the URL we only want to show the main domain. We know this is possible with frame based forwarding, but this is not working correctly in responsive, so we are looking for another method to do this.
