Design of Cartoon model figurez

We have developed a concept for a range of model/statues and are looking for an illustrator to bring these ideas to life.
There are 6 figures in the range and require pictures that can be then used to create moulds for the range.
The approach to the project will be to commission one figure for work. Once this is complete then I was planning to commission the next 5. Overall budget was for entire project. Would be great if the designer had a knowledge of Australian / UK popular culture. Also 3D modelling skills/experience would be ideal as the work will become figurines. Ideally to have project complete by mid Jan 2015 :)
