The album I am making is mixing the sounds of futuristic cinematic sounds with traditional house / techno beats. The content has been inspired by the themes and ideas of films such as Prometheus, Interstellar, Mad Max, Ghost in the Shell, Tron Legacy and Blade Runner 2049. The music for the album is in its final form but I am now seeking a really standout piece of art for the cover. I want something that represents humanity's big challenge of becoming space bound, the hope involved and the enormity of the task, presented in a positive light. Mixed with the current struggle and growing pains technological advancements are presenting humanity: such as LED filled cities, holograms, the social media hive mind. I'm open to any ideas, although I'm not against colouring in the art I would say that the less colour the better (think Schindler's list use of red in the film for emphasis on certain subjects within the film).
The music itself aims to inspire sounds of the future over traditional club rhythms, and so I like the idea of having the artwork being a mixture of futuristic images (representing the futuristic element of the music), and the human images (the traditional musical rhythms that lay the foundations of it).
