Our landscape software application - gCADPlus - ([url removed, login to view]) needs some icons for new toolbars. The gCADPlus drop down menu in our application is the most complex of the toolbars we want to create so we would like to start developing it. The attached image file shows the menu.
This project involves creating a series of 18 images - each file should contain an image at 16X16 pixels square - 24bit, BMP, with the background color set to 92, 192, 192 (RGB). The aim is to gather these files together on a new toolbar.
The design for each icon should reflect what the option does. For example, the first option labelled "Broadscale planting" might show several trees perhaps on a line representing the horizon. The second option is labelled "Extract blocks". This option extracts data (such as botanical name) from symbols in the drawing so the icon should reflect that. The third item shows "Plant schedules" and makes a list of plant names used in the design so we want something appropriate. And so it continues....
We hope that the English language term for each option provides enough information to create the icon. A full working copy of the software can be downloaded from the web site and the search facility on the site can be used to determine what each option does, but we do not believe you need to go to that level of detail.
