Completing of this project entails writing a framework and basic iOS functionality to import geo referenced mapping images and DTED from a cloud source, conduct basic manipulation of the map (scroll/pan/zoom incorporating normal iOS gesture functionality) and be able to overlay screen drawn lines as vector objects. These vector objects should be geo referenced with the mapping image also. DTED data should be displayed on screen for any long press user gesture. The emphasis for this project is GIS data functionality and compatibility along with code stability and scalability. The GUI aspects of this project are less important (other than the basic functionality described).
