Build a website for posting regular updates and email subscriptions

Want to have a web site for posting articles and will be having email subscriptions through which customers will have periodic updates in their mail.

A database will have to be configured accordingly based on the design specifications.

preferring wordpress as a template and will also be working on adsense after it gets live.

Candidates having experience in having large portals with regular updates and large database handling is at priority.

please provide your sample work before applying, after scrutiny and finalisation design will be discussed.
