Crystal Report Design on MySQL

I would like to be trained to use basics of Crystal Reports starting with editing an existing report to modify as required. Current report already works fine but I want to modify the formatting and it uses subreports that I am having trouble with. Also, I am having issues connecting to the MySQL database. I would estimate 2-3 hours of work would be required for this. We would do gotomeeting so the work would be done on my system to get it running properly.
I am running Windows 7 x64, Crystal reports 2013, MySQL 5.5.31
