  I understand this is a beginner's mistake. When Contest Holder see the printed file and realize that the result is not a high-quality editable vector, he will finally understand the problem with using AI. It was not for lack of warning.

     Here's the effed up part about Freelancer's policies. "Technically", AI is legal and allowed unless 'otherwise stated by the contest holder'. Freelancer allows it, and that in and of itself is a HUGE problem. I think there's legitimate purposes to use AI, but mostly for photo editing and manipulation. I can easily see it as a very useful tool for say... a magazine or editorial publication. But it should absolutely NOT be used for essentially taking over the job and roles of a professional graphic designer. That's where I draw the line. For my 9-5, I'm in the automotive advertising world. We have no choice but to use stock imagery every single day for a lot of advertisements. But I myself, refuse to use images and backgrounds that were generated by AI. That takes money away from hard working photographers and people who build 3D environments and render them out on their computer like Blender or Cinema 4D. This AI crap is getting out of hand.

  If you select AI works, you can't get the source files in final. Because they didn't create own graphics. I am get bored to tell to newbie Contestholders this issue.

  Thank you for extending the contest. The designs you presented as example are craft beers with modern artwork concept, but the visible entries you haven't rejected are more traditional ones. Can you explain better the concept style you're looking for?

     @CH. I took a look at Romulonatan's profile and portfolio. He seems legit to me. If he and you are open to it, DM both of us and just open the contest for us to go head to head and see which one comes out on top. He and I both have good ratings. (at least I think I have good ratings....) This way, I feel strongly you won't be left with a poor product. Either one of us will give you a solid result. His portfolio is pretty extensive. Mine isn't because I'm not on here very often, but if you wanna see the Devils Backbone label I made, just google "Capitale Beer Label". It's the one with the red hops pellet as the Capitol dome.

  So, I'm a little confused. Is the label supposed to have areas where you can physically write on it? Kinda like a crowler label for breweries to write the ABV, name of the beer, etc. If that's the case, then what's the purpose of putting Lager on it? Do you only brew Lagers? Also, be aware a lot of these folks are using Artificial Intelligence to generate their entries and aren't actually designing anything. Gives new meaning to the term 'scam artist'. You can tell by the broken typography and words that don't make any sense. If you're familiar with Devils Backbone Brewing Co, I've done a label for them, so this is def up my alley. But I'd appreciate some clarification before I get started.

     Also, 'vintage' is a really tough style to do. Typography is easier, but the fancy shapes and lines require a special style of illustration that not every designer is good at. Fortunately, there is stock imagery available, but on this site you have to be very careful on how you use it. My strategy is to take shapes from multiple sources and comp them up to achieve some sense of originality. For the style you're looking for, I'd especially recommend this route as I doubt hardly anyone on this site is capable of doing that style freehand.

     Last reply and I'm shutting up for a bit lol. Label style... are you looking to print full wrap labels to go around 12oz glass bottles? (I'm guessing you don't have access to a crowler machine). Or are you looking for something more like a square sticker (die cut of a special shape is going to be very expensive to print) like what you might find on a bomber size bottle of Guinness? I used to keep those bottles and peel the labels off to reuse for bottling day haha.

  Is Sner Haus the main brand name or the is it the lager beer name? I mean, will you have other beer styles under the same Sner Haus name or this is just for the lager one?

     Hello Natan - Sner Haus is the main brand name and 'Lager" is the beer name. In fact, I would like to change it to "Lakeside Lager" if possible. I will brew other beers over time and update the label with the new type of beer

  I can't help but notice the silence here... but my entry #80 doesn't use AI. It's completely vector and I have previous experience with designing label art for beer.

     I home brew beer as well, I'm definitely not new to creating beer labels professionally. A lot of the folks on here are using AI to create their entries and I promise you... you will NOT get what you want from them as they won't be able to hand over vector files for printing. I'm a professional and don't use AI. You're more than welcome to DM me if you want to discuss edits and revisions in private.
