Dear designers,

I updated the brief details because of some good questions from one of the designers.

We need a unique company logo design for a glass production company named "Cilica". Our core business is selling glassware for retail and hospitality industry in the following categories: decorative containers (aquariums / vases), tableware (drinking glasses) and Porcelin glass (vases and plates).

Some of our products are glass blown and some is pressed by machinery. We use soda glass, recycled glass, porcelin glass or pyrex glass for our products. We have production locations in East Europe and Middle-East and our current target market is Western Europe and UK.

I started a contest, because we don't have an exact idea for our logo yet. We need the help of the creative minds of the designers. We need the logo to be suitable for online and offline use. The most important thing is that our company name is easily readable in the logo.

We will mainly sell B2B so our clients will be corporations, for this we need a professional clean look. Also we need that look to relate slighty with glass somehow. We don't want to have large image files next to the company name text to keep it clean and avoid having a weird text to image ratio. Regarding color combinations we believe blue, grey and black tins will match will with our field.

Please note that we will reject entries created by logo generators. Also we do not appreciate exact copying other designers entries. Only if you make it better. Please don't submit 3D entries, but flat 2D designs.

      Thank you so much for the time spared in fully answering. I shall try hard to honor this and hopefully submit a few of my ideas I hope shall give you a feel of what you had wished...
      To my disappointment I was only aware of your competition at the time I had had asked the question. Today I am literally loaded with work to do. But by tomorrow I so want to share my personal thoughts.

    I want to thank all the designers for their work and entries so far. Unfortunately I have rejected a lot of entries, because they are copied from other designer or they are created by logo generator tools or they do not match the brief.

    The reward is not low, please take your time and use your creative mind. I want you to submit designs you would be proud to use it for yourself.

      Hello Sir, Madame... Your company... Can I please ask you something about your company that is not too clearly stated in your brief given?
      What do you do exactly? I mean I understand "glass production"... But production of glass "what"? Or more likely also "how" do you work with glass?
      Is it manufacturing (So such as with Batch, hot/cold end stages), glass blowing, decorating,cutting, industrial glass, mosaic, etc..?
      What would you best advise we focus our logo designs on towards as to ensure we best describe your company?

      BTW: that is a BEAUTIFUL name for a glass production company...
