Is it time for a drink? We think yes! We need your help to design a bar that will be installed in our offices.

Floorplan Details:

The bar will fit into a "sector" like shape with the curved side being where the main bar will be, looking "out" from the interior. Part of the curved bar will be open, allowing walk through into a sitting area. Behind the bar their will be a liquor fridge with a customized liquor shelf above it - the shelf can be modified as part of the design but the entire unit must be placed in your designs as it appears on the floorplan. Please see the attached floorplan, sample design of the space and designs for the liquor cabinet for more details. Please keep in mind we don't want a copy of the sample, we want something new and exciting!

Style Requested:

We are looking for a modern yet clean style, with sophisticated and rich materials used throughout. We've chosen some materials to use (mainly black wooden flooring, black marble tile and gold/silver highlights) so please take a look at the attached "Materials" file. Please Incorporate these materials/colors into the final render. We want this space to be amazing and new, incorporating elements of Freelancer's style (fun, passion, growth etc.) and blending them with sophistication and cool elements. Feature walls, water features, unique shapes etc. are all fair game. We want something truly spectacular for our bar, help us see what it come become!

How to Enter:

- Please submit a screenshot or sample of the 3D render
- We'll also accept digital designs which show proper depth etc. so we can still visualize what the entire space will look like
- Full render/design files will be required upon award

Winners:

- We will award (1) main winner the prize, with the possibility of continuing work after the contest ends
- The winning design will possibly be used in the final build of our Freelancer bar.

nice floor plan.. but we want some measurement please , how much area do you want to cover for your bar. minimum length and width of area, and i think their is not 90 degree angle in your floor plane , (A or B wall with slide angle). please clear my doubts. Thanks

  Your designs won't have to be perfect to the specifications, we mostly will use this to build and decorate the space but the exact measurements will be handled by an outside contractor. You can see the floorplan for more details, that should help.

Hey All - thanks for participating. We've updated the brief and attached a new image to include an movable liquor cabinet that sits behind the bar. This cabinet will sit behind the bar and are shown in the floorplan. Additionally we have attached a photo of the space to provide better understanding of the decor. However I wouldn't limit your design because of that - be creative and design something amazing!

need some clarification,

can I change the furniture to better suite the scene. I am designing a minimalist modern type. so it would be great if there is a freedom to use custom made furnitures (like stool, chairs etc).

I would like to know to which kind of people will go to this bar, I know you said this Bar is at your office, but it would help me to select the style and more materials. If they are young millenials, or adults in their 40´s, or creatives, and in which context it is (photos would be very useful) like how does the office looks.

  The space will mostly be used by employees and people in the office for tech events. So mostly people in their 20s and early 30s and in the tech industry. I've attached a picture of the "space" with the proposed bar area on the right. Hope that helps!
