We are a group of urban dwellers who are passionate about the environment. We live in concrete boxes but we want to become more of a community and encourage other residents to join us in creating a better environment for everyone who lives in our suburb.

Our local council has kindly allocated space for us to grow vegetables, herbs and fruit trees plus a composting area.

In order for us to look authentic and real, we need to develop a logo that showcases our beliefs so that we can attract more people to join our group. That logo will be mostly used in flyers (black & white plus colour) asking for volunteers and announcing our various projects.

Ideally, once the design has been developed and chosen, we want a j.peg plus, at minimum, we would need a high res and low res version in both colour and b&w.

Our logo needs to be warm and friendly, not corporate in style. The suburb name is Southbank but it could be anything - the name is of no consequence. Our mission is to unite the people and create a warm community so that people who live in 'boxes' (apartments) can interact with their neighbours and never feel isolated or lonely. At the same time, we want to be mindful of the damage we have done to the environment and try to help by finding ways to lessen our footprint.

We are feeling that the results are mostly 'corporate' in style whereas we are a group of residents who have formed a community-minded sustainability group to get together and share ideas on how to recycle better, do some gardening, provide vegetables and herbs to anyone in the suburb, etc. The biggest result of our efforts has been in engaging people and creating a community.
