Our store is using Woocommerce/Wordpress and we want to add a special coupon that would give customers a bonus product.
Project Details
1. Our store is here: [login to view URL]
2. We want it so that for every $30 worth of gift cards purchased, the customer will receive a bonus $10 coupon, if they use the correct coupon code.
3. Only 'gift cards' would count towards the total for this (see attachment)
4. The 'Bonus $10 Coupon' is another product that we have already added to the website.
5. Examples:
- Customer buys two $50 gift cards. They would receive three $10 bonus coupons ($100 / 30 = 3.33)
- Customer buys one $75 gift card. The receive two $10 bonus coupons ($75 / 30 = 2.5)
6. Customer only gets this deal if they enter the correct coupon code during checkout. Code = DublinCVB
The user process would work like this:
1. User goes to online store
2. User purchases gift cards (possibly other ineligible products as well)
3. User goes to checkout and enters the coupon code: DublinCVB
4. The system would calculate the amount spent on gift cards. For every $30 spent they will receive one '$10 Bonus Coupon' for free which will be added to their order.
5. Customer completes the purchase normally. The order will show the additional '$10 Bonus Coupons' as products and the company will make sure they are included when sending the order.
Additional Details
- If you need a special plugin for this I can purchase and install it
- This is a live site. I have a recent backup, but please be cautious while testing so we don't effect current users.
