Plugin for WordPress that adds an Instagram-like stories section on buddypress/buddyboss newsfeed where:
-Users are required to tag another user when posting the stories.
-Only those tagged in other stories can view the stories posted by the user.
-The viewer of the story can press the tagged user's link which leads them to directly message the tagged user, the message must automatically contain a link with preview for the story that has the viewer tagged by the user who posted the initial story.
-Story doesn't expire after 24 hours like Instagram.
-News feed containing buddyboss posts from mutually tagged users. Including shortcode to show the activity stream. These posts can have expiring time.
-The stories can have multimedia content including videos, pictures and voicenotes.
-Users can post these stories on the frontend.
-Users can tag other users when posting using the "@" symbol with suggested users showing up in an Ajax depending with the username or email or number that the user types.
- An elegant viewing and posting design for the stories section which is Instagram-like on the frontend. Shortcode where users can view the stories and newsfeed.
-Ability for users to tag users not on the platform using emails and or phone numbers. This produces an invitational link with preview of the story that can be shared to the tagged user and they can then register and join with the story posted after they join.
-Ability to post drafts of the stories.
-Ability to show the stories on buddyboss newsfeed or not.
-Ability to let users on to view the stories and not able to click tagged users until they have posted/invited two stories themselves.
As an example:
The user posts the following stories:
Story 1 with tagged friend 1
Story 2 with tagged friend 2
Story 3 with tagged friend 3
Story 4 with tagged friend 4
friend 5 who is not tagged cannot see any of those Stories.
friend 4 can see Story 1, Story 2 and Story 3 since he is tagged in one of the stories.
when friend 4 views the story that has friend 2 tagged, they can click the @friend2 tagged link and that link leads friend 4 to send a message to friend 2. the message must have link of story 4 which has friend 4 tagged in it.
friend 1's newsfeed will be having buddypress/buddyboss posts and stories posted by friend 2,3 and 4 so there's like another story section for that. Once friend sees a post by say friend 2 and they click on their profile link, they must be able to view the tagged story post for the user.
